What does the DKV Mundicare insurance offer extra cover in addition to your current health insurance?

This is now possible with the supplementary insurance, DKV Mundicare. For just a small amount per month, you can ensure that you and your family members have access to the best specialists in the world.

How does this insurance work?

When you or one of your family members is diagnosed with a serious illness or condition, DKV checks which of the collaborating clinics worldwide is specialized in this. You can think of, for example, the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore or the Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. DKV provides guidance throughout the entire process.

What can you expect from this insurance, among other things?

• Reimbursement of medical costs up to € 1,000,000 per insured per year and up to € 2,000,000 during the term of the policy
• Travel and accommodation costs for the insured person, an accompanying person and, in the case of a transplant, also for the donor
• Reimbursement of medicines up to € 50,000 upon return to Spain (related to treatment obtained abroad)
• Extra reimbursement of € 100 per day for the time that one is admitted to hospital abroad (for meals, etc.)
• Repatriation in the event of death abroad
• Can be purchased until the age of 67 and provides cover until the age of 75.
